Academics

At AESA Prep Academy of Barcelona, students follow a rigorous, college-preparatory American curriculum that combines academic excellence with flexibility. Each year, students take four core subjects: Literature, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Throughout their high school education, they also explore World Languages, Fine Arts, Physical Education, Health, Communication, and a variety of elective courses tailored to their interests.

Our curriculum is designed to meet high academic standards while adapting to the individual needs and pace of each student. We have extensive experience working with English language learners and students with mild learning differences, including dyslexia and ADHD.

For high-achieving students, we offer honors courses and accelerated academic tracks that provide meaningful academic challenges.

Understanding that many of our students are deeply engaged in sports, performing arts, or other extracurricular pursuits, we focus on maximizing learning during the school day. Our goal is to reduce excessive homework while maintaining academic integrity. Through hands-on, engaging learning experiences, we help students stay motivated and inspired to reach their full potential.
